We live in a colorful world. Colors represent various holidays; they are also used to express feelings and enliven language. Colors influence people and they are associated with certain feelings  and meanings.

These associations are mostly defined by the cultures we live in. Also  they can make you understand  why a designer uses a specific color.

White: peace, truth, cleanness, friendship, death, light

Red: urgency, passion, heat, love, blood , strength, danger

Blue: truth, dignity, power, coolness, cowardice, brightness

Orange: playfulness, warmth, vibrant

Yellow : hug, kiss, sometimes hate

Green: nature, health, cheerfulness, environment, money

Purple: wealth, royalty, sophistication, intelligence

Pink: softness, sweet, nurture, security

Black: sophistication, elegance, seduction, mystery, death, rebellion, strength, evil

Brown: Solid, reliable brown is the color of earth and is abundant in nature. Light brown implies geniuses while dark brown is similar to wood or leather. Brown can also be sad and wistful. Men are more apt to say brown is one of their favorite colors.
